Of course, when I think of small animals, I now automatically think of insects… And boy did I take pictures of insects lately; this is completely getting out of hand!

Mijn paardje (en ook zijn vriendje) worden al lang niet meer beslagen; alleen om de zoveel tijd de nagels knippen (bekappen) volstaat. De foto’s komen van een reeks die ik maakte toen ik een keer meeging met hoefsmid Marc Goddijn, om hem aan het werk te fotograferen. Daarbij blijft het warm (heet!) beslaan altijd mooi om te zien.

Not often my son co-operates when I want to make a picutre of him… mostly he runs away when he sees me with the camera. Sometimes I bribe him with computer time or an other treat, but this time it was different. I had figured out a possibility on my camera with a ‘cool technique’ (multiple exposure – I’m not sure if this is a correct translation) for which he was willing to co-operate.
